Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

The instant gratification of a handheld treat – a confection that when presented requires minimal effort to travel from container to hand to mouth – makes it even more pleasurable. A treat that requires scooping, cutting, slicing, is totally worth it!

But save all that work for later and just tide yourself over with a palm-sized cookie that will pull up the corners of your mouth and add a gleam to your eyes.

1 Stick Butter, Room Temperature
1 ¼ Cup Dark Brown Sugar
1 Egg, Room Temperature
1 Tsp. Vanilla
1 ¾ Cup AP Flour
½ Cup Cocoa Powder
1 Tsp. Baking Powder
1 Tsp. Kosher Salt
¼ Cup Bailey’s Irish Cream
1 Package, 12 oz. Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Preheat oven to 350°F
Sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt
Using a handheld or stand mixer, cream butter and sugar
Add egg and vanilla
Pour in Bailey’s
Slowly incorporate dry ingredients
Fold in chocolate chips
Scoop onto cookie sheets and bake for 8-10 minutes
